Factoid: There was a SNES (not arcade) version of UN Squadron (AKA: Area 88), a horizontal scrolling shooter, featured a plane you could "purchase", although it is called the F-200 Efreet ("the latest in Soviet technology"). While this plane differs in color scheme, it is clearly modeled after the Firefox.
